A Listing of Places to Donate Unwanted Items
When decluttering your home you will likely have items to donate, sell, or simply trash once the task is completed. The following is a listing of organizations where your unwanted items can find a home. I have given the website address for each. Many of the websites will lead you to local chapters by simply plugging in the zip code where you live. Some organizations will pickup items from your home or provide dropoff locations. They will also inform you of the types of items they accept and the acceptable condition of those items. Often local telephone numbers are given so you may speak with individuals. Note that the listing following each organization is not an apprehensive list of items accepted. Salvation Army
